Shropshire has always been a hot bed of mountain bike riders in the Uk.
Eastridge was one of the original mountain bike venues use for so many races over the last 15 years.
With this race taking place in what is one of the homes of mountain biking there are a lot of locals racing on their home tracks.
Sandy Plenty of the Trail Head Shop in Shrewsbury has come up with the idea of the Shire Super Cup.
Any riders with a SY postcode automatically gets entered into this competition.
There are 39 riders in with a chance to take the title, the total times from the 3 stages will be used for the results.
