Introducing the Grizedale Funduro – A New Mountain Bike Race for Everyone!

Grizedale Forest, UK – Get ready for an exciting new mountain bike event as the Grizedale Funduro makes its debut!

Hosted by Bike Treks in Grizedale, this fun and inclusive race format is designed for riders of all levels to enjoy the stunning trails of Grizedale Forest without the pressure of fixed start times.

Taking place in one of the UK’s most scenic riding locations, the Grizedale Funduro follows a mash-up format, meaning riders can tackle the stages in any order, as many times as they like between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Whether you’re riding with friends, family, or pushing for the podium, this flexible format ensures a great day out on the bike.

The stages will make the most of Grizedale’s red and black-graded trails, offering a mix of flow, technical features, and natural terrain that’s fun, challenging, and perfect for a Funduro vibe.

The fastest time from each stage will count towards the final results, with podiums and prizes from Fox awarded across all age groups, from 12 to 70 years old, plus dedicated e-bike categories. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to race at Grizedale Forest, offering riders the chance to experience incredible trails in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
